Kade Esplin, President
Though Kade may not own Sebastopol Geese he brings with him over 10 years in the Poultry exhibition world. In his 10 years, Kade has worn many hats as a member, an officer, and board member of other clubs, Kade's goal is to be the acting voice of the membership by advocating, and pushing for what is best for the members.
Laura Huey, Vice President and
Co-Founder
Laura began by helping her mother Gail with the Sebastopols after Gail’s health started to decline. Laura being a 4-H kid, farm kid, & showing a variety of animals, decided in 2016 to take some of the birds to the local show. At that show she started to learn how the poultry show world worked. With that information Laura approached a few people about starting a Sebastopol Goose Club, that’s when the National Sebastopols Goose Association came to life. Since that time Laura has traveled many of miles showing her Sebastopols, building relationships with other exhibitors, breeders, and enthusiast.
Brittany Sweeney, Secretary
Brittany fell in love with Sebastopol geese the moment she saw them at a poultry show. While new to geese, Brittany has several years of experience keeping Welsh Harlequin ducks and an assortment of chickens. What she lacks in poultry experience, she makes up with a deep knowledge of marketing and communications (both print and digital). Brittany looks forward to getting to know more members, learning more about Sebastopols, and helping make the NSGA the best it can be!
Jackie Masterson, Treasurer
Comes to us with 20 years with Sebastopol's, and wears many hats ranging from Board member at her local Credit Union to managing a mobile home community. Jackie loves to volunteer her time and help when she can. Jackie’s goal is to help the club continue to grow as well as managing the financials.

Heather Terrell, Junior Program Director
Heather is a CTE teacher by trade and lives with her wonderful husband and two kiddos in Magnolia, Texas. They moved from their HOA neighborhood to the country four years ago and immediately added geese to their homestead. They started with just a few and have expanded to more than 40 Sebastopol geese in all of the wonderful colors.
Her family got hooked on exhibition poultry and enjoy showing their geese at local poultry shows. Her kiddos also love showing their birds in the junior division and she hopes to help mentor and inspire others as well!
